I was born in Amarillo and moved to Austin with my family in 1968. I grew up in south Austin, graduating from Crockett High School. I attended Southwest Texas University, Midland College and ultimately graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1979 with a BBA in Business Management.
After graduation, I worked in a family business, which I helped to successfully grow and managed for over13 years. I learned a great deal about hard work and customer satisfaction and have carried that with me throughout my real estate career. I entered the real estate field in 1995, working as an agent for Mustin and Porter Company. Due to my volume of business sales I was named Salesman of the Year five times during the last 6 years. I obtained my Brokers license in 2006. I have helped my clients buy and or sell homes throughout Austin and surrounding areas. I have found real estate to be an extremely rewarding career as it has afforded me the opportunity to help people with one of the most important investments of their lifetime. It continues to be very gratifying to help people realize their dreams of owning a home.
I have been married to my wife, Sue, for 23 years, play golf, workout and run on the hike and bike trail on Town Lake. I enjoy being with my friends and family and enjoying all the wonderful things that Austin has to offer.
