Fred is a 1953 graduate of The University of Texas. Much of his
business career was in New York, California and Toronto:
Pharmaceutical marketing, medical and legal publishing, and owner of
a number of small businesses before retiring to the lake area of
central Texas in the early 80s.
Fred and Linda moved to Lakeway in 1990 and have been active
throughout the community. Fred was chair of the Lakeway Activity
Center Advisory Committee for the six months before, and the six
months after, the Center opened. Linda, his artist wife, and Fred
then designed and created the small park behind the Lakeway Activity
Center; a three year effort supported by many volunteers and donors
of both money and services.
In 2004 Fred served on the Lakeway City Facilities Advisory Committee
which led to the new Lakeway City Hall, Justice Center and the Public
Works Facility which includes the Lakeway Animal Shelter. Most
recently Fred served on the City of Lakeway Annexation Advisory
Committee. Currently, Fred is a volunteer at the Lakeway Service League. Linda and Fred live and love the -Resort Lifestyle -
